I’m sure you’ve all heard of it, and you know what it is. But are you accusing the right people? I’ve seen many a good player being accused of cheating (by a n00b ofcourse), when really they haven’t done anything at all wrong. I would like to make the statement that people who are good at Counter-Strike are good for a reason, usually not because they cheat. They frag away night and day to be the best. And then they are accused of cheating and are sometimes kicked off the server. This really pisses me off. I often defend good players when they are accused of cheating by newbie’s, and they become the ridicule of the server :).
So, how do cheaters actually cheat? And how can you spot one? I’m not going to show you exactly how to cheat, and hopefully you won’t ever. Cheaters consist of Wall Hackers, Speed Hackers, Skin Hackers, Grenade Hackers and more. Even bunny hopping or strafe jumping (I don’t really feel this is a cheat. As most people who can do it had to learn it in about 30 hours of csing. That’s a lot of hours. Anyone who has learnt it is deserving enough). [read more] |
