The official launch trailer for "Commandos: Origins – Shadows over Crete" shows the new DLC campaign set just after the Battle of Crete in World War II. In this expansion, players support the Cretan resistance in a four-mission campaign focused on sabotage, espionage, and guerrilla warfare. A new enemy unit, the German Paratrooper, is introduced, and players navigate coastal villages, ancient ruins, and fortified islands while testing stealth and strategy.

This DLC is available now on PC (Steam, Epic Games), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The campaign follows the Commandos team behind enemy lines after the German invasion of Crete in May 1941, led by the loyal Cretan resistance fighter Eleni Andris. The launch trailer highlights the intensity and tactical depth of this WWII real-time strategy game expansion.
