I really enjoyed the original Command & Conquer Generals (review 88%) and expected improvements for the first expansion. Now I must admit, I was not let down. The addition of certain weapons and tactics made this Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour even more enjoyable. So what the expansion includes?

one little correction US General Townes specializes in aircrafts not WoMD. But it doesn't change the fact that this is great game :)

Good review HX! I'd agree pretty much with you. except "still challenging" -- the original C&C generals was too easy. glad they fixed it now.

good add-on for a great game, but this game is only really good for multiplayer as the storyline for the single player is rubbish!! they needed FMV like all the other CnC games, that was a huge let-down for me when i bought the original!!

i've said it b4 and i'll say it again, i prefered the storyline of choosing an army and dominating the world! In C&CG it was all political and the jist was CHINA & USA support V GLA, USA V GLA and GLA V CHINA/USA/UN.... excuse me what about the USA V CHINA & GLA or CHINA V USA & GLA ? WTF r EA doing playing U.S foreign policy/propaganda via PC GAMES ! makes me think EA VC ur noting but a CORPORATE WHORE !

the full motion video they do use (of the reporters) is such BS that i'm glad they didn't use any more. get some REAL reporters plz... not people pretending to be reporters who have to look at the script off-screen. geez....

I think that the GLA, is still suck what with all the chemicals super power but still suck. It also lack any good or special unit. It would of been better if replace with the Russia unit like in the original series.

in the screenshots the power on the picture is high but it seems like your not yusing it you still have like 7 particlecannons 1particlecannon requires 10 power

Hell Yeah! Home World 2 is so realistic and just plain awesome, but that's besides the point because CnC Generals still rocks and Zero Hour is by far the best CnC game ever, which is saying something

The game is cool. But i expected a bit more from the expansion pack. It`s still too easy to win with US and u don`t have to use any new unit ..

It is never said that the GLA are exclusively Arabs or bad. Also, if you look at the cover of the game's box, you should notice an exploding American aircraft carrier. This happens in a GLA mission. So, if the GLA soldiers were mostly Arabic, this would be your game!

to play generals or zero hour via direct connect use a program called hamachi - set up ip in game options, then play as a LAN game.
