GameSpy: How involved in the game's development do you get? Do you just look at it when it's almost finished, or do you look at early versions? Colin McRae: I mainly focus on the handling of the car. I drove through the game at various stages and provided feedback commenting on the car, the tracks, the surfaces, how the car behaves, etc. Nicky Grist wrote pace notes for every stage of the game to make sure that the game is as accurate as possible. It was a real team effort.
