- Post a comment Due to popular demand, Treyarch is now opening up Call of Duty: World at
War's Nazi zombie co-op playlist to everyone on PlayStation Network and Xbox
Live, nullifying the previous requirement of completing the single-player
campaign. Treyarch is also giving out double the experience points this weekend.
This is available for every owner of the game, not just those who have the
special Collector's Edition. It started this afternoon at 1:00 PM ET and will
stay in effect until an undisclosed time -- probably Monday morning, if I had to
guess. If you're in desperate need for some double XP, I suggest you take off
work / school now and head to your console of choice :P In related news,
Treyarch has announced on their forums that a 1.2 patch for the PC version
of the game is in the works and will be released at the end of January or the
beginning of February. There's also a fairly extensive
message board post which attempts to explain how Treyech goes about creating
PC patches for the game
Finally, this weekend,
save 50% off
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, now available to customers worldwide.
Vegas 2 has also just been updated to include 3 new bonus maps: Dark versions of
the maps Murdertown and CQB Training, along with a newly lit and textured
Calypso Casino. The eerie atmosphere of the dark maps cause players to use night
vision to spot enemies. The three maps are playable in all Versus modes and
Terrorist Hunt. |
