Q: Close Combat's site says that it is "based on a training tool developed for the United States Marine Corps," can you expand on this a bit? A: The Marine Corps has been very involved in creating First to Fight because they plan to use it in a variety of single-player and multiplayer training capacities. This is why they’ve been so helpful in giving us access to Marines who were involved in urban combat in Iraq -- in some cases just a few weeks before coming to our offices to help us. Q: Has the US Marine Corps played any role in the game's development? A: Besides providing us with thousands of pages of documentation and sending combat-experienced Marines to our offices, they also test First to Fight and suggest modifications to make it more real. They've helped in every area -- including how a fire team moves and covers fire sectors, how the fire team engages enemies, what it sounds like to get shot at, enemy tactics, how to call for fire from mortar crews, etc.
