HomeLAN chats with Click Entertainment co-founder Ben Haas as he talks about their upcoming (and so far untitled) online fighting PC game. Here is a snip:
HomeLAN: Fighting games have had a spotty record on the PC platform. Do you feel your game will be able to break that curse?
Ben Haas: Mixing good RPG elements with a fighting game will attract both fans of fighting games as well as action RPG. We intend to create an online world where fighters evolve and move up the ranks not unlike the world of professional boxing. NPCs such as bookies, agents, and promoters will arrange everything from individual fights, to massive tournaments. to championship bouts. Prizes for winning fights will include rare one of a kind weapons and items such as a championship belt. These type of features will be very popular and help break any negative online fighter stigma.
