As far as looks there is only one other engine out that beats the high level grapics here, Unreal. If I had to complain about it it would be the respawning enemies and the ending, that said thou this is a great game, and it comes form Solvinia (sp), designed apparently to have per pixel shading, but which todays sysems cant seem to handle. http://www.ownt.com/the_views/interviews/2003/chaser/chaser.shtm Has something form all thew most popular FPS and does a good job putting them all in one game. First half of the game the story is strong. These are some of the hugest levels if not the hugest ever in a game (major atomisphere), these size levels would bring Quake engine to its knees. The PC market has sucked for the last year or 2 cause Micosoft has been throwing money at the good Dev's to make Xbox games, and thankfully Europe and the east have been taking up the slack :)

This game is very poor. I hope (and bet) that the developers have all committed suicide by now. So bad, oh my god. Are the developers of this game blind, deaf quadrapaledgic mutes? I swear to god, a 12 year old retarded kid with dual oxygen pumps on his wheelchair could make a better game. Jesus christ, what were they thinking?? This: Developer1: Lets make a game that rips off soldier of fortune 2! But, instead of improving upon it, lets make it completely shittier by using a graphics engine originally placed into a 1986 frogger machine! Developer2: Ok! If you have a mind (void all Jowood employees) you wont buy this game.

Great level design, decent weapons, good AI. After a while it bogs down in repetitive play, but overall it's one of the better recent shooters. These Slovakian developers deserve every success.

The underwater level was so fuckin lame but it was a decent immersive/cinematic FPS (although generic) up until then when i stopped playing it.

This game got the rating it deserves, a 70% seems about right. Its, nothing more then a sci-fi FPS. I personally like the Multiplayer mode, but only if you ignore the extensive errors and gitches you seem to get. The single player is okay, but it gets boring preety quicky. I do appreciate decent AI. Altough, My computer hella lags on All FPS so, my opinion isnt all that good. Download Demo. It has Multiplayer, sing on and give a try.

This is a nice game, good graphics and great atmospheric sounds. Perhaps not an original game, but good entertainment. With settings on high and a P4 2.5/GeForce 4 4200, this game speeds along. Basically, this game is FUN.

I find the engine extremely boring. Empty for being precise. The whole game tries to act professional, but in some ways I doesn't get there. My score for Chaser : 56%

not as good as DOOM 3, or HL2. that's what you ppl mean. But as a foreign game, on the FPS route, it's very good. Don't compare games. DOOM 3 and HL2 with make all other games look crappy we all know that. But Chaser it a great game, and this only the demo i've played, therefore it can only get better. (i hope) Great job guys. looking for a better game from oversea? check out FARCRY.

This game's graphic engine is very cool.. It requires no recent expensive graphic card. I can play Chaser with my RADEON 7200!! superb!! but finding all the routes in this game is so hard to play. it's a big maze! but this is a well-made game. try once more!

I`m from slovakia and I think this is the best game in Slovakia that was ever made. The quality of graphic level is very high and playable is too high for our ralations

stfu n00bs this game rocks. it fucks every single fps that was out for the last 2 years... you damn dumb ass-faced baboonz... indeed, the underwater level was something annoying... so?? every game has it weaknesses. the game is *really* long, the gameplay is *great* (except those fucking crouched-jump), weapons are darn cool, musics are nice, level design is one of the better i've *ever* seen you damn' bastards! the story is intersting enough, and... shit you f00lz! 90% if you do not agree, hang yourself on by the ballz

Good game, I got the full version and its a difficult game. Good its abotu time you accually had to work at a game in order to beat it. Bunch of sissy lala's! (Something to play pre-Doom III)

I've just started playing this game - it looks promising, but I think that the story is, as said in the review, a bit cliché. Right now I'm at the Watergate level. The graphics are nice and the engine is also fast. The sound is crappy - the guns sound too lame...like spring operated ones :o) But overally taken, it's not bad, I can say It's good. My personal rating 65-75% (something between it..I'm leaving space for myself to revise the rating :o)))))

Very nice graphics and does not require top level cards, I have a TI4200/64 Mb and the game runs quite well. Decent AI. The storyline is just too much inspired by Total Recall. Huge levels, sometimes interesting, sometimes boring. The underwater level is horrible, I skipped it w/out regrets. Regrets for the Mars airport, very funny level but you must run and you cannot enjoy all the details. Lots of quotation from the Alien movie series: the military trucks (from Alien 1), the Mars prisons (from Alien 3). Lots of weapons but almost equivalent, you end up using only the attack rifle. The game has shadows and very good light reflections, but this is embarassing since there's no way to hide in the shadows nor you can see yourself reflected in water, steel or glasses. Some bugs such as dropping in the nothing between two wireframes.

crappy story, good engine:short load times/no need for fancy graphics card, some nice level designs..not too bad but could have been better..
