PCGamePlay has a new interview (from EA's London press conference) with Westwood's Joseph Selinske, talking about C&C Renegade.
PCG: The version of the game demo'd today was very jerky. Why was that?
JS: [Sighs] Simply because we were running it on a machine we didn't know anything about. Also, [the version demo'd] is an old one. We're currently doing the conversion to DirectX8 and we're seeing a 200-300% increase in speed. And we haven't done any optimisation yet either. We've built the foundations and we've got all the levels completed and now we're starting the polish phase. [more]
