HomeLAN chats with Westwood Studios' Dan Cermak as he talks about their upcoming first person shooter Command and Conquer: Renegade. Here is a snip:
HomeLAN: Will there be any cameos by familiar C&C characters in the game?
Dan Cermak: Yes, there will. While he’s not in the game, Havoc will have multiple encounters with a certain bald-headed despot everyone knows and loves. Havoc will also run into Dr. Mobius, GDI’s Tiberium expert. Havoc will also encounter all the familiar faces from the first C&C game – Nod Chem troopers, Flamethrower infantry and rocket soldiers. In order to build a backstory around the game, we’ll also be introducing some new characters in order to give players a sense of perspective on Havoc’s past. I don’t want to give anything away just yet, but there will also be some new characters that are particularly nasty and could be very popular with those who play the game. [more]
