C&C: Generals Expansion Announced - briefly

This Electronic Arts just sent out a press release annoucing the first expansion to their hit RTS game Command and Conquer: Generals. The expansion has the working subtitle of Zero Hour and is the first C&C game that will be developed at the franchise's new home at the EALA studio. Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour is targeted for release on the PC this fall 2003. The expansion is due for release this fall. Here is an excerpt from the PR:

Players will wage a global war to become the ultimate General of modern warfare as they square off against the world's most elite commanders. An all-new Generals Challenge mode will allow players to control any of 9 distinctive armies in battle through 9 computer-controlled Generals. After defeating the AI Generals, players will have the ability to select conquered armies to play online.

Selecting from an arsenal of new high-tech weaponry and a wide variety of new units, players will employ whatever it takes to remove enemy Generals from power. With new weapons such as the US Specter Gunship or Global Liberation Army (GLA) combat motorcycles, players will have all the firepower they'll need for global domination. Three new campaigns featuring 15 new singleplayer missions challenge gamers to destroy the U.S. fleet in the Mediterranean, root out a splinter cell in Cairo, infiltrate a U.S. intelligence building, or send in special operatives to capture weapons of mass destruction.

since RoN, C&C doesn't matter to me anymore. After all the game doesn't play anything like when I bought it. People babied as usual about balance and they made all races eventually equal...Took the fun right out of the game. Then there's the lag of multiplayer that hasn't been fixed. Screw it, Rise of Nations is 10x better than that hunk of crap CnC.

You RAT-ASS, tom [email protected], have you already forgotten how good "C&CG" is I think you miss out a whole lot of taste on "C&CG" buddy. Because "C&CG" kick-ass and we all fans know it. So by the way "RON" is not even 10x the fun compare to "C&CG". Now the press is talking about they new up-coming "C&CG" expansion this one will burn your ASS off of your seat buddy. Finally, C&CG expansion is coming out soon ooohh yeaaah baby. Can't wait to get this one.

I think the beta release of RoN was decent. But this shipping version just is not as fun. And C&C Generals SP was just too easy.

CnC is another game that was patched and ruined by a whining community. Instead of deal with half assed patched I de-installed the game and gave it away. Take a look in the manual and see the 'power of the nations' then play the game and see if the manual is right. You will see that all the games are now close matches because all the races have equal power despite having different things in their arsenal. Trust me, buy the expansion, just be another game destroyed by the community, cough cough, whining forums for CnC. Get a game they wont change how your races play, get RoN. A decent community and a game you have 20 nations to choose from. The worst about the CnC community is people with valid points in the forums get knocked off the front page, so if you want to stay an eternity on their forums constantly pushing your thread up, so be it. But CnC was good when it was Red Alert, they killed it listening solely to their whining kids on their forums. Expansion, shmansion.. It will follow same route as the original game. Altered from its original format. Another thing... put it on the hardest skill level and take on 2 opponents.. you can finish the game easily, try putting RoN on Moderate and finish it..Good luck. Hahaha.. RoN is worth every penny.

Tom RON is a pathetic game i can't believe you like that game. lol thats so funny. I laugh at you for playing such a crap game. I guess one persons trash is another persons treasure though. I be sure to ship my shit boxes to you.lol! i have no clue what you mean about CNC community. utimately its the developers fault if the PATCH SUCKS. you can blame monkey's for stealing your bread but if you live on antartic then your comment is ridiculous.unless the monkey's have some type of airplane to fly to antartic but then the monkey's would also need to know how to fly the airplane.Since monkey's probabaly can't understand human languages then i would guess they must be some highly advanced monkey trained by people. But still assuming this the monkey's would still need to obtain a plane thus they need monkey to buy a flight or the skills to fly the plane. know i don't how a monkey would get money other than robbery but you would need like 1000-10000 dollar to fly there. and monkey's don't have a good ability to socially interact with humans so its not likely they would get money. plus the monkey needs food to eat on the trip there , protective clothing agaisnt the cold and he needs to know where the bread he is going to steal is. know i don't know about you but i have seen a lot of thermal suits designed for monkey's have you. well the monkey might need to make a special suit created or an existing suit modified which again cost money. SO NO I DON'T THINK the monkey would steal the bread from a person on antartic? do you believe he can well i hope not. but if you must believe it without a number of good reason then you must believe that your an idiot.

Hahahaha! I agree with you "who is superior" I don't even know why "tom [email protected]" would thinks that RON, is better than C&CG. He's a fool to say that RON is 10x better fun than C&CG. I hope us commenting about him would shut-him up for awhile. Just he wait for the new and up-coming of C&CG expansion pack, "TOM" is going to "BEGGED" for forgiveness.
