HomeLAN chats with writer Christopher Golden as he talks about his part in co-writing the script for the upcoming Xbox action title based on TV's Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Here is a snip:
HomeLAN: Were you given some freedom to create the storyline and script or did Fox Interactive have some specific ideas in mind?
Christopher Golden: On the first game, not at all. They had been developing it for a LOOOOOONG time before we came aboard, and by the time we did it was really a matter of giving specific feedback to their storyline, pointing out a few continuity errors, and then providing all the dialogue. The story is not ours at all. (Unless you count the novella that's a PREQUEL to the game, but even that was just elaborating on ideas they had created.) On the other hand, the story for the SECOND game, which we're calling CHAOS BLEEDS at the moment, is ninety-five percent from the freakish and fevered brains of Golden & Sniegoski. [more]

look at battlefield vietnam and battlefield secret weapons: they are totally ripping off the current mods out there, the jet planes (DC), everythign in battlefield vietnam (EOD), the jetpack (action BF).. the list goes on. Why buy this crap when its copied, and you can get better original versions for free.
