Publisher Bethesda Softworks announced the PC version's minimal and recommended system requirements to let PC gamers know if their rig can handle the title.
With the inclusion of Steamworks, players will have the following features:

 Steam Achievements
 VOIP (in addition to the already existing in-game chat)
 Leaderboards
 VAC (Valve Anti Cheat)
 Dedicated Servers
 Friends Support
 Steam Cloud (for save data)

Minimum Specs:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz or equivalent
Memory: 2GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA 8800GS / ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro or equivalent
OS: Windows XP(SP3)/Vista/Windows 7
Hard Drive: 8GB of free space

Recommended Specs:
Processor: Intel Quad Core i5
Memory: 3GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850

Bethesda has also announced that the game will be arriving one week earlier, and will be released on May 10 in North America and May 13 in Europe. Of course, it could also have something to do with Rockstar’s heavyweight LA Noire, which is scheduled for release on May 17.
