Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Confirmed - briefly

Confirming the majority of the earlier report this week, Gearbox has announced that 2K Australia is developing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The game will be available in Fall 2014 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Taking place between the events of Borderlands and Borderlands 2, The Pre-Sequel sees you playing as four new character classes fighting alongside Handsome Jack, where you’ll get to see his transformation into the villain you know from Borderlands 2. The Borderlands gameplay of "shoot 'n' loot" will be present in The Pre-Sequel, with low-gravity and oxygen-powered jetpack combat, Cryo elemental damage type, laser weapon type, and new vehicles added to this new Borderlands title. The four characters were also detailed by 2K, including Claptrap from Borderlands 2: Athena, the Gladiator: Uses her Kinetic Aspis, which is a shield that can absorb incoming damage, then convert it back into energy to use against enemies. Athena made her debut in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC for the first Borderlands game.
Wilhelm, the Enforcer: Wilhelm was previously seen in Borderlands 2 as one of the first deadly bosses in the game.
Nisha, the Lawbringer: The sheriff of Lynchwood from Borderlands 2, Nisha will be dealing out her own brand of justice, which we’ll discuss further in the coming months.
Claptrap, the Fragtrap: Wait - Claptrap? The goofy robot companion from Borderlands 2, now playable for the first time? Fragtrap is his character class? Well, you can play him too!

I take it this one will also be a repetitive game that is launched with incredible graphics bugs that make it unplayable.

All shooters are repetitive. Some more than others. I found BL2 pretty good. I hope that there'll be plenty of humor in there. My personal favourite is Tiny Tina. The accent, the attitude, lol.

Yep played BL2 to death. bought a bunch of their addon stuff because the game was worth it, unlike a lot of other shit floating around there. I've got nearly 300 hours on BL2. Bugs?! Can't say I saw too many, certainly nothing that stopped me from playing.

NyaR - Don't buy it on console. I found the PC release of both games to be quite stable and well-optimized. Like Tom, I have hundreds of hours in BL2 and its add-ons. To me, the voice acting alone makes it worth the purchase price. It also happens to be a damned good FPS.
