BlizzCon Tickets on Sale May16,Event To Be Streamed - briefly

Blizzard today announced that tickets to its 2009 BlizzCon convention will be available for purchase on May 16. The event will take place at its usual venue, the Anaheim Convention Center, on August 21 and 22. Tickets are priced at $125 apiece, and will be sold through the official BlizzCon website. Blizzard notes that those unable to secure tickets on May 16 will have a second shot, as another block of tickets will be released for sale on May 30. The company has made improvements to its Blizzard store interface, including a first-come, first-served queue system. BlizzCon will again be broadcast on DirectTV, with customers able to tune in for the price of $40. However, fans will also be able to tune into a Pay Per View internet stream this year, for the same cost.
