Blizzard is Making Changes to Hearthstones Ranked Play - briefly

In an announcement today, Blizzard is changing the way Ranked battle play works in Hearthstone. One of the changes is all ranks now having 5 stars to progress. One of the larger changes, at the end of the season, you will drop exactly 4 ranks. This is to prevent high skill players from having to grind back up as far, and from destroying lower skilled players on their path back up.
The update should allow players at the top of the ladder to jump into the action immediately by matching them against similarly-ranked opponents, providing more engaging matches while reducing the time it will take for them to climb to a rank appropriate for their skill-level each season. This in turn should improve matchmaking for everyone who plays Hearthstone, including those climbing the ladder for the first time. Since players will be more evenly matched at the start of each season, they can make immediately meaningful progress toward their ladder ranking against players of similar caliber.

I am not lower skilled, I just refuse to pay 1000$ for cards and I refuse to grind endlessly to open 20-30 decks and get (almost) nothing. So I play with what I have, I get to rank 16 with my crappy cards, call it a season and that's that. Did it 3-4 times, got tired of it so, good bye, have fun.

edit: Taunt warriors are annoying as hell and they are all over rank 20ish

Why touch a Blizzard game? They are there to milk people dry.

BTW, since there are no GPUs on the market (referring to NVidia's happy streak caused by the coin miners), noone will be playing decent games in 2018 but the rich.

I play D3 every season for a week or two. It hasn't bored me entirely yet.

I don't know what you mean by nVidia remark, both AMD and nVidia are equally unavailable if you are looking for them at normal price range, or don't have a pull...

edit: fear not, ETH craze is dying down, difficulty is spiking up and ROI is not that appealing anymore. What I mean is, who got in, got in. Who didn't, it's not worth going into it now. Ah and also, ETH is going to change to POS system sometime this year so there will be no more GPU mining for it.

Anyway, yeah, one can only hope things will get back to normal soon.
Cards costs well over 200euros than they should.
