Blizzard Entertainment announces new survival game - briefly

Blizzard Entertainment announced that it's working on a new survival game for consoles and PC. The team didn't reveal any further details, but the concept art focuses on a group of individuals that are transported into a mystical realm from a modern city. Blizzard is currently looking at hiring developers for the project and said the following on its website. It's unclear if the title will be an Xbox and PC exclusive, however. Chances are it will be since it's a new franchise and development has just begun. However, all of this depends on when the Activision Blizzard and Microsoft deal goes through.
Blizzard is embarking on our next quest. We are going on a journey to a whole new universe, home to a brand-new survival game for PC and console. A place full of heroes we have yet to meet, stories yet to be told, and adventures yet to be lived. A vast realm of possibility, waiting to be explored. Every story needs a teller. And every world needs builders. What if that could be you? ... Do you want to join a collaborative team of experienced developers at the early stage of a new project in a new world...and help ... Blizzard's story?
