Blizzard confirms Next-Gen MMO Title - briefly

Wired.com has extracted the key points (thanks EvilAvatar) from the massive thread over at the official WoW forums:
In response to a post on the official World of Warcraft forums asking about Blizzard's recent job listing seeking a "Lead 3D Character Artist - Next-Gen MMO," Blizzard Community Representative Drysc confirmed that Blizzard is, in fact, seeking employees to help them work on "an unannounced Next-Gen MMO."

Drysc then specified that this new project was not an expansion for the current World of Warcraft universe, leading many in the thread to speculate that the project could be anything from the oft-whispered-about Starcraft MMO to a persistent world based on The Lost Vikings or Blackthorne.

WTF are BLIZZARD doing ? thats all we need is another cartoon kiddy cloned World of Wank MMO. They are squeezing their cash cow dry soon enough ppl will realise this and move on.

What i expected the mofos at BLIZZARD to annouce is the long awaited DIABLO 3 MMO, unfortunately i guess BLIZZARD are gutless and spineless in not persuing the brand which has proved successful worldwide. The diablo series has appealed to both the young and adults with its benchmark fantasy gaming system.

Maybe in the next life i may see the likes of Diablo 3 (dam you mofos).
