- Post a comment / read (1) Game Science has just released the September 23rd Update, also known as Title Update 1.0.9.15179, for the PC. This patch is 1.7GB in size, and you can find its full patch notes below.
Now although the update is 1.7GB in size, you’ll need more than that in order to install it. As the devs claimed, due to the platform’s update mechanism, your PC will need to reserve around 92GB of free disk space.
Do note that if you have installed mods in the game, installing the patch may cause compatibility issues with the mods. This could prevent you from launching the game or triggering error pop-ups during gameplay. So, make sure to keep that in mind. If your game does no longer launch, I suggest removing the mods you’ve installed for it.
According to the changelog, this new update fixes various crashes and errors occurring under specific conditions. It also improves the combat experience for the Yaoguai King “Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master”.
From what I could see, there aren’t any performance improvements. So, don’t expect the game to run better now. It’s a bummer as there’s always room for improvement. So, let’s hope that a new patch will further optimize Lumen and Path Tracing.
Moreover, Patch 1.0.9.15179 resolves a number of game bugs and gameplay issues. Plus, it resolves an issue where the Destined One could be thrown outside the invisible wall during certain Yaoguai Chief and King battles.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. |
