BF2142 Demo Issue - briefly

The official Battlefield website has word that EA/DICE is aware of disconnect issues with the newly released Battlefield 2142 demo, and is searching for solutions. They also mention that the demo was such a svelte 1106 MB download due to the exclusion of 33 MB worth of DirectX installers, so a DX installation is necessary for anyone who doesn't have it yet.
In an effort to reduce download times the Battlefield 2142 Demo does not contain a DirectX installer. Be advised that in order to play this demo players must have DirectX9 installed and should ensure that the d3dx9_29.dll is present in your C:WINDOWSsystem32.

We are aware that some players are experiencing disconnects while playing the Demo. Please know we are running checks and making enhancements to our support systems so that these disconnects can be solved as quickly as possible.

oh ya you can fly upside down with engines going 2wards the sky HAHAHAHA WOW eather they had retards for beta testing OR they wanted the game out anyways and decided to patch it about 100times till its fixed HAhaha

I stupidly bought BF2. Don't care for it, much less BF2142 skinjob.

The only one I really like was BF1942, after that it just became a total bore...
