Battlezone (1998) Remake Plans - briefly

Sniper Elite series developer Rebellion announced that it plans to relaunch Atari's arcade classic Battlezone with a pair of new games for PCs and VR devices. In addition to the VR-focused Battlezone remake it announced at E3, Rebellion also plans to release a remastered version of 1998's Battlezone, updating its hybrid FPS/RTS gameplay for modern PC platforms.

I'll take the remastered edition if remastering means leaving it intact for the most part (like it happened with Homeworld), but I'll leave the rest of the rubbish alone (that shite on the video).
