- Post a comment Eidos announces the availability of the PC edition of the Battlestations: Pacific demo that's also now available for the Xbox 360. The official Battlestations: Pacific single-player demo features a complete mission from the US campaign as well as two multiplayer modes playable in single-player Skirmish mode. The 1.33GB is mirrored on Gamespot, FilePlanet and BigDownload.
In the single-player mission, you will experience sea and air combat. First, you will defend the fleet against kamikaze attacks from a battleship, and then fly the F4U Corsair fighter to take out airfield and island defenses. Finally, you'll launch and fly fighter planes along with torpedo and dive-bombers in an all-out attack to sink Japan's largest battleship.
Twice the size of the original, the sequel includes 28 major battles, 100 units including 21 new units, five new innovative multi-player modes, all new island capture, kamikaze attacks, and an improved easy-to-use interface. Battlestations: Pacific will be available on May 12, 2009 in the US and on May 15, 2009 in Europe on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC.
