As promised, Electronic Arts has released new patches (full
patch 1.2 ~ 296MB,
dedicated server v1.2 ~ 173MB ) for
Battlefield Vietnam, updating this multiplayer action game by Digital
Illusions to version 1.2. The patch adds three new maps (Operation Cedar Falls,
Saigon 1968, and Fall of Saigon), 8 new vehicles (A1 Skyraider, Ontos USA tank,
BRDM Malyutka Complex - NVA amphibious vehicle that fires wire-guided missiles,
Quad 0.50 MG, NVA T-72 tank, AC-47 Gunship, M35A1 Nancy truck, and BM21 Troop
Transport truck), a new spectator mode, mobile spawn points on the 3D map,
balance tweaks, bug fixes, and more.
