Taking a look at the Global Stats page on www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com you can learn a lot from how you play differently on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and which kits are preferred. It seems players on both platforms have a tendency to side with Assault and making the least use of the spotting spec. That is some pretty sad PC stats.

darknothing(06:02 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
Hi im a pc gamer, now someone tell me why pc gaming isn't dying? a fps that is pretty dam good cant even touch consoles.....wish i didn't sell my xbox360.

Mendax(06:30 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
They are apparently missing some '000 there, I doubt these figures are really correct. I did more revives and repairs than this, and I know guys with 1,000 plus dog tags. Would be interesting to see the real numbers though...

LOL! there aren't even any PC stats on that page. Who the fuck fabricated that information. I'm sure though that PC doesn't even come close to console stats. Probably better to save PC gamers from the embarrassment.

Renton(08:52 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
WTF!?!?

I'm a PC player and me alone have this stats:

So no way those numbers are correct...

Just take a look at some of the bfbcs.com numbers:

Koogle(10:35 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
its not a fucking competition...

all those stupid stats say to me is that
1. EA are morons
2. consoletards will always be noobs, thus needing to be revived more, handicap spotting, and more ammo supplies (which is pointless because they'd be dead anyway thus explaining the high body count)

3. PC gamers die less often.

4 xblock360 players suck.

and lastly

5. EA are morons, especially for releasing PC stats that badly collected.

6. They probably blame piracy for the lack of PC results, seeing as not all PC gamers are stupid enough to buy a watered down console game designed for the noob.

7. Correction... They ALWAYS blame piracy.

8. And don't forget, EA are still fucking morons.

Ozieo(10:51 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
I'm still waiting for them giving the detailed numbers of PC customers giving up on dumping more DRM and other shit on their systems.

These mighty game corporations still think people buying games use their PC for gaming alone.

I gave up on PC games because of 2 things :

1) All kind of malware being thrown on my system by legally bought games.

2) The hidden agenda's between those lousy game corps and the hardware industry in the deal of spreading unoptimized crap in the hope that people will buy newer hardware as if they buy their daily bread and butter.

Now, If they would calculate those 2 things in their "Great PC Piracy" stats, we should have a very different conclusion of WHAT really is killing the PC industry.

psolord(11:17 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
I clicked on the global stats link and there are only PS3 and XBOX 360 options. Maybe they are recounting the PC number.

Oh my what fucktards.

(11:37 PM CEST - May,25 2010 )
Apparently, the PC stats are broken

We are investigating why Global Stats website isn't working for PC and when they are we will update the stats post to show PC players too.

Don't forget the 'you MUST be connected to the net at all times to play our games' mentality of the PC also.
It was #2 that made me bin funding these knobs! Sick to the back teeth of the STUPID frames per second fluctuation of ALL PC games.
NEVER a full stable consistent game; going from 100+ to double/single figures because of garbage coding = deliberate collusion to tempt to force you to buy another 6 monthly CPU/GPU upgrade.
M$ flight shite being a notoriously example, yet the graphics were absolute pathetic.
The pathetic ego tool for the PC (laughable) gamer today is the 'play with lots of sliders' game. Oh look x24AF, x16AA all settings on high and i'm getting 92fps@3027x2024  Like what the fuck is more important; gameplay or pissing about with endless settings to get the fucker playable!?
That was when i decided to stick with the xp back catalogue and amazingly, they ALL played *without* the need to spend the week fucking about with a menu. Vista,win7 8 core CPUs wtf!

Does it not say it all that they got to the moon with less power than a P90 win 98 system and here we are today that CAN'T even get a GAME running properly on a quad core,8gig RAM, 2 gig SLI system.

Some people need a reality check!!!!!

darknothing(07:37 PM CEST - May,26 2010 )
i knew something had to be wrong with those stats.... why did they post them if there broken? asshats.

Tom(07:48 PM CEST - May,26 2010 )
Only n00bs and idiots prioritize PC over console. PC gaming is dead and when the next generation of console comes out it will put the PC (for gaming anyhow) 8 feet under ground. As far as I am concerned, PC is already 4 feet under as it is.

Lots of funny but true comments in here. Way too many to comment on. LOL!

psolord(09:32 PM CEST - May,26 2010 )
Only noobs, idiots and kids living on their mama's money, prioritize console gaming over PC gaming. Have fun with your 720P (and sometimes 640P) @ 30fps, lol.

Next gen consoles, will only bring better textures, models, engines for the PC. For the first year at least. After that, the PC will again wait for another 7 years of itch to pass, so it can again enjoy what it is really worthy to run.

Ozieo(10:32 PM CEST - May,26 2010 )
I think only the PC "Total Time Played in hours" stat is wrong, all the rest could be correct, but that's the console's controllers fault, and the PC's mightiest weapon called "Mouse".

Renton(11:01 PM CEST - May,26 2010 )

LOL... what an ass...

If you dont like the PC, that's OK, but go and tell Valve that PC gaming is dead or dying. They have a constant 100% grow per year.

FPS on consoles are by far worst experience ever. The FOV alone is totally lame.

Ya but you're a certified bonehead anyhow so who cares..

Valve has 100% grow per year.... Ya whatever. Ya the growing smell of shit you mean. Where's Episode 3, where's HL3? Nowhere, nothing done. It isn't worth the development costs for little return because everyone is gaming on console.. but again, you are clueless. You think TF2 was some huge success? You think L4D was huge? Ya in PC world where a thousand sales are good. LOL! Valve is jack shit for PC other than a distribution channel for everyone elses crapware.

Next gen console will be the last nail in the PC coffin. Hopefully they throw you in with it.

If you have at least two brain cells active you will noticed that I was refering to Steam, not the games.

Ozieo> I think only the PC "Total Time Played in hours" stat is wrong, all the rest could be correct, but that's the console's controllers fault, and the PC's mightiest weapon called "Mouse".

The support is already there, they just have to turn it on for games. I am pretty confident the next gen console will have full keyboard and mouse support. When that time comes, PC will die finally as a gaming platform.

@Koogle.
I'm sorry Koogle, but the only tards are the ones who believe that some revolution is going to occur on PC.

PC costs way too much to develop for. Have you ever developed a game Koogle or Renton. No you just sling shit around for fun but in reality you don't know your asses from your forehead. Have you ever written a line of code? I have. I have been involved in 4 gaming projects including various competitions. Unfortunately, none of my games made it to market. I won awards in competitions... that does count for something. Reasons we couldn't get games to market? Pulled game budgets, developers stolen under our noses from other developers. Lack of interest in the community.

It's literally impossible in the PC landscape to spearhead your own project. It takes too much commitment. It takes money because nobody wants to work for free and make a name for themselves. Look a Red Orchestra.. that was a great team project, but they serious ran out of coin during development. It was Mark Rein that helped them as he helped me and my team to develop our game.

Developers want to maximize the money they put into games but also not lose it in profits. PC is nothing but a LOSS.

Developers want to ensure that their games are not ripped off and they get profit. Sorry that can't ever happen on PC. It's not a matter of a game being good or worth it, piracy is huge on PC period.

PC has a million configurations to take into consideration when writing games. Consoles don't. Nvidia and ATI have failed to work together to standardize their cards and compete solely on performance. Their costs are also astronomical for SMALL gain. They both always had different ways of doing things.

PC's cost a shit load compared to console. Most people will go and buy a console before they build a full-fledged gaming PC.

These days, only a moron would spend huge dollars on a PC and only a moron would insult a gaming population that outnumbers your own by a million times. You and Renton are morons as are anyone else who thinks PC is going to miraculously make a come back. Dream the fuck on.

Renton>

Well that would be 1 more brain cell than you got active.

Ozieo(12:08 AM CEST - May,27 2010 )
If you fart in hot water, you can Steam too. PC Gaming will stay alive, merely for the FPS's which suck marbles on console, all the rest will leave PC in a closeby future. Of course, if FPS's keep selling great on consoles, no matter how horrible they are, producers will not please PC lovers for their blue eyes or white teeth, but there's still that one weapons next to the mouse the PC offers, partnerships between game- and hardware producers, and they're not there to please us, they're there to get your money !

Renton(12:24 AM CEST - May,27 2010 )
Ozieo> but there's still that one weapons next to the mouse the PC offers, partnerships between game- and hardware producers, and they're not there to please us, they're there to get your money !

Exactly. For that alone PC gaming can go on and on like always. If the PC gaming market ends who will ATi, nVIDIA, intel and AMD sell their products? Not to talk about the hundreds of partners like MSI, ASUS, EVGA, BFG, Sapphire, HIS and endless etc.

I been hearing the PC gaming is dead bullshit from consoleretards since always and we are still here, like always. There are just some titles that doesnt work in PC like platform, musical or hack&slash crap.

Ozieo(12:30 AM CEST - May,27 2010 )
Btw, now that we're talking BF2:BC , there's a new ATI/AMD driver out !
There's only some known issues left though, one of them rendering grass & crop on your helmet, making you look like a complete moron.
Have the loading times been fixed ?
http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=279&threadid=134012&enterthread=y

Nope, they haven't !

Renton(12:42 AM CEST - May,27 2010 )
They finally fix the problem for long load times between maps!!!

psolord(10:27 AM CEST - May,27 2010 )
Renton>

Well he does have exactly two, but they are buttfucking each other in turns, so there's no time for any decent thought to be made.

Supposing your involvement in any game development is true, the failure of any kind of success seems to explain a lot about your PC bitching. Please don't let your personal failures to cloud your judgement.

There may be a million PC configurations out there, but there is only one Direct X and one OpenGL. Ok there are three workable DirectXs but only DX11 is the new one. Developers have already enough experience with the other two. Oh what the hell, even if they programmed solely for DX9 (which most of them do anyway), PC games could have been much better than the crappy consoles anyway. You know, there is a huge difference of what a 1900XT could do with DX9 and what a 5870 can do with DX9.

It is crystal clear the games developers tone down PC games, in favor to the consoles. You see some lame textures, that you would see in a game five years back, while even my grandma's laptop has a 1GB of video memory to use. Long story short, since you are a developer, they could program for a decent PC, then tone down for consoles, not the other way around. They don't do that, because this is SONY's and Microsoft's guidelines.

Gaming consoles community, is larger for one reason and one reason alone. People are too stupid and too lazy and too incompetent to face the challenges of the PC. A hard drive game installation is too hard for them. Oooh I have to double click on an icon to play a game, I am scared! Daddy prefers to get his kid a console, so he/she stops busting his balls and yes it is cheaper, but the kid will learn nothing from it, other than hitting X like crazy. At least with the PC, the kid has the chance to learn a thing or two. It is clear that low IQ people, do not understand the difference of 30fps vs 60fps. Most of them cattle, wouldn't understand a decent framerate if it hit them on the head. So, if the global gaming community, is 75% console fucktards, that does not mean they are right, they are just more.

As for Piracy, in the PC you actually have to find the crack folder, and copy the crack to the installation folder. That means you have to find the installation folder as well. Gosh this is so hard. On the XBOX 360 and Wii, you just have to have them modded and you are good to go. Just throw the DVD in and have fun. On Wii, you can just have a hard disk with the ISOs attached. So yeah, PC Piracy is bad, LOL.

In case you forgot, PS3's increased security against piracy, is what fucked it up and is now sweating in third place. I can bet you that PS4 will be cracked in much better fashion than the PS3. I could also bet you that next gen consoles, will be upgradeable, at least in the graphics department. Wait and see!
