Battlefield 6 players are accusing EA of using generative AI for paid cosmetics in Season 5. Fans spotted strange details such as a character wearing five pistols and a patch misspelled as “Secuty.” The claims are unconfirmed, but they echo a similar December 2025 backlash over a sticker showing an M4 with two barrels. DICE previously stated that generative AI assets would not ship in the final game. Rebecka Coutaz told the BBC that AI was only used in early development stages. EA has not officially responded to the latest accusations.

Battlefield 6 is facing another AI controversy. Players are accusing EA of using generative AI for some paid cosmetics after spotting strange details in recent items. One sticker shows what looks like an M4A1 with two barrels, while other cosmetics have similarly weird details. The use of AI hasn’t been confirmed, but the controversy is going viral because DICE previously said generative AI assets would not ship in Battlefield 6.
