Interplay was keeping eyes trained on the expansion pack to Baldur's Gate II at this year's E3, but preliminary plans are already underway for Baldur's Gate III. An Interplay rep mentioned to us that Throne of Bhaal will be the last of the games to use the current engine. The next installment in the series, he said, would be in 3-D. [more]
