Baldur's Gate 3 Hotfix Addresses Over 150 Glitches - patch

The first Baldur's Gate 3 hotfix (be cautioned that within the patch notes are some story spoilers, although they have been blacked out with a togglable filter) has officially arrived a day after launch with remedies for over 150 bugs and crashes. Interestingly, the arrival of the patch also brings the death of cross-saves, which Larian Studios says are to blame for broader issues players are having with their save files.

"We've been reading your reports on issues with saving your game, and have found a culprit – our cross-saves. Bearing in mind this will only be a useful feature come September 6 when the PlayStation 5 version launches (and beyond), we've decided to disable it for now to allow us to solve the issue in the interim. You shouldn’t notice anything in-game and Steam Cloud saves are unaffected by this change."

Elsewhere, the patch notes detail fixes for several laundry lists of issues from general "crashes and blockers" to bugs affecting general gameplay, multiplayer, UI, audio, engine, and cinematics.

You're an idiot :lol: or a master of sarcasm.

Hard to tell on the interwebz.

Game is not a bugfest.

I have 2 co-op sessions and 1 solo playthrough.

I've experienced zero game breaking bugs, only 2 minor issues.

1. There's a blood-splatter texture at camp that is flickering white.
2. The UI can sometimes fail to update the inventory list of an NPC party member at camp.

Considering the complexity of the game, this is an incredible feat.

No, I have not played it - I don't have the bazillion dollars on my account. But what would you think when you see 150 issues fixed on day 1? lol Will pick it up on a sale a few years from now. By then, we might have decent CPUs and GPUs.
