Arkane Studios and Floodgate Entertainment recently signed a contract for the audio ambients and speech recording of Arx. FGE is a new game development studio based in Boston founded by Paul Neurath (former founder of Looking Glass Studios, and one of the creators of the original Ultima Underworld). This audio work will be done by Kemal Amarasingham, who has worked on Thief 1&2 and System Shock 2. Arx is a first-person role-playing game that will be published by Fishtank Interactive for a 2001 release. [more]
