A new
version of the free multiplayer shooter America's Army has been released,
bringing the game developed and released by the US Army to version 2.8.3. The
new version is mostly to improve perfomance and also cuts down the installer
size considerably. There's also a new Instant Action mode that allows players to
jump in directly to play matches without having to go through the single player
training missions. A patch to update the prior version is mirrored on

The updated full 1.91GB client is also available on
