AMD's New Preview Driver Enables Up to 30% Better Performance - tech

AMD has released a new preview driver that introduces a range of exciting performance optimizations to its family of Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards. Among them are substantial improvements in select DirectX 11 titles; a new community blog post shared by AMD claims that the new driver will enable performance gains of as high as 30% in titles such as Blizzard’s latest World of Warcraft expansion, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. AMD’s new preview driver also introduces a new version of Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) that features a new “sharpen effect” filter, allowing users to fine-tune the level of sharpness to their satisfaction.
