AMD VEGA RX launch date, it's coming, real soon, and I'm in L.A. learning all about the VEGA RX release. Prices, models, performance...

From what they've shown off thus far, I'm not particularly excited about Vega..

I'm not, either.
But, seeing how AMD gave Intel a run for its money, they might just do the same with Nvidia - and this is what I am hoping to see.
It should drive down the inflated prices very nicely.

actually, they are pricing it in-between 1080 and 1080Ti and going to market it against Ti.

Also, intel has a lot of money and a lot of customers because it has more than just CPU business. It has what AMD thinks it has: a whole ecosystem. I doubt they will care loosing a few i5 customers to ryzen 3/5. Imho, intel has been spoon feeding us performance bumps over the years and with each new "generation" I just bump my K by a 100MHz. Ryzen is basically just a cheaper version of a CPU that I do not want/need.
But that's just me, the guy that doesn't kill boredom by buying and building a new PC to do what previous one did just fine :)
