The six-part live-action Alan Wake prequel short movie series 'Bright Falls' is now available online at Machnima's YouTube channel (#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) (It's also available on Xbox Live for Gold subscribers). The series was co-written and directed by Phillip Van and follows a newspaper journalist's experience in Bright Falls before Alan Wake's arrival at the beginning of the video game. If the short movies emulate the game then expect for plenty of weirdness and creepiness. Alan Wake comes out exclusively for the Xbox 360 on May 14 in Europe, May 18 in the Americas, and May 27 in Japan. A prequel to the highly anticipated Xbox 360 game Alan Wake, Bright Falls is an online series of live action shorts set in the fictitious Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls, WA that provide an eerie prelude to the events that transpire before Alan Wakes arrival. The series, which is six episodes in length, introduces us to Jake Fischer, a newspaper reporter who, while visiting the town on business, encounters a series of mysterious and haunting experiences.
