The Matrix: Path of Neo ships - Atari and Warner Bros today announced that The Matrix: Path of Neo is now available in stores nationwide for the PC, PS2 and Xbox.
GUN ships - Activision today announced that highly anticipated action game GUN has shipped to retailers nationwide. Developed by Neversoft Entertainment, GUN puts players in the role of Colton White, a vengeful gunslinger who straddles the line between good and evil as he makes his way through the untamed West of the late-1800s where greed, lust and brutality were a way of life. GUN is now available for the PS2, Xbox, GC for a suggested retail price of $49.99 and PC for a suggested retail price of $39.99. It will be available for the Xbox360 the week of November 15.
The Movies ships - Activision has also announced that The Movies has shipped, and Lionhead's cinema simulation is ready for its closeup in the U.S.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ships - Electronic Arts and Warner Bros have announced that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is now available for PC, PS2, Xbox, GC, GBA and NDS. "Launching in conjunction with the Warner Bros. Pictures film based on J.K. Rowling's fourth book, the game allows players to experience thrilling moments of the movie and master magic in cooperative play with up to two of their friends."
Atari Facing Lawsuit by Rollercoaster Creator - Troubled Atari is facing a $4.8 million lawsuit by RollerCoaster Tycoon creator Chris Sawyer, who claims the company owes him unpaid royalties.
Atari Licenses Unreal Engine 3 - Atari announced today that it is the latest publisher to strike a multi-license deal with Epic Games to use their Unreal Engine 3 graphics technology and game development tools.

No Region Eencoding for PS3 - Sony might not have an online service but they are looking at other ways of pleasing people. Looks like PS3 might drop region locked games. (thanks EvilAvatar)
Jack Thompson withdraws from AL GTA case - Jack Thompson has withdrawn himself from the GTA cop-killer case in Alabama, denying that the presiding judge placed any pressure on him to do so. Thompson stated: "It was my idea."
