- Delta Force: Black Hawk Down - Team Sabre movies -The official
Novalogic website has
two new movies from Team Sabre, Ritual Entertainment's expansion pack for
Black Hawk Down.
- Sven Co-Op Incompatibility Patch & The Awakening map available -
The official Sven Co-Op
site has been updated with an incompatibility patch for version 3.0 of
Sven Co-Op. Here is the deal: "One genuine (though unavoidable) problem is a
compatibility issue with Natural Selection v2.0. This is because fmod.dll is
used by both Sven Co-op and Natural Selection to play MP3s... SC3.0 includes
the latest fmod.dll, and it's not backwards-compatible. Ironically, the only
reason we updated to the latest fmod code was to keep SC compatible with
Natural Selection 3.0, which uses the latest fmod.dll itself. To solve the
problem, download this
file and extract it to your Half-Life directory. For NS2.0 (and possibly
a few other older mods such as SC2.1), run the fmod_OLD.bat file. For SC3.0,
run the fmod_NEW.bat file. Once Natural Selection 3.0 is released, this will
no longer be necessary." In addition,
Part 1 of Resident
Evil: The Awakening, MrFranswa's Resident Evil-inspired Sven Co-op
mission, is now available. The map features all-new weapons and enemies, three
different player classes, four different game modes, multiple secrets, boss
battles... a "Zombie Slaughter" minigame, unique gameplay with non-respawning
weapons and ammo, in-game music, and much more.
- TRON 2.0 Non-XP v1.042 Patch - An unofficial
homebrew patch
is now available for other versions of Windows.
- Jagged Alliance 2 Mod - Jagged Alliance Galaxy fansite is reporting
that the long-awaited
Urban
Chaos mod has been released. It adds new missions and numerous gameplay
changes.
- Spacetanks v1.01 Demo - Yawthrust Software have released
a playable demo (40MB) of
Spacetanks, their retro-styled arcade shooter.
- UFO: Aftermath Wrap Report - RPGVault has posted
a
"wrap report", this time for UFO: Aftermath, as Martin Klima, lead
designer at ALTAR Interactive, talking about development of their counter-UFO
strategy game.
- EU Shadowbane on 15 January 2004 - Ubisoft sent out a note that
they plan to launch
Shadowbane in Europe on 15 January 2004.
- Off-topic: Kill Bill Vol 2 Teaser! - The official Japanese website
for Kill Bill is now hosting
the
first teaser trailer and the first TV spot for Kill Bill Vol 2: The Love
Story. Kill Bill is one of the best movie of all time. For me, at least
