- Warlords IV Preview - RPGVault has posted
a
preview of Warlords IV, the turn based strategy sequel from Infinite
Interactive and Ubi Soft. The game will be in stores later in October.
- Conan: Pictures from Games Convention in Leipzig - The official

- Celtic Kings: The Punic Wars wallpapers - Haemimont Games has
released
3 new wallpapers (1024x768) for their upcoming game in the Celtic Kings
universe - Celtic Kings: The Punic Wars.
- Age of Mythology Patch v1.07 - Ensemble Studios has released
a new patch for
Age of Mythology (available only via auto-updater), updating their 3D
real-time strategy game to version 1.07. The manual patch should be available
soon.
- World Racing retail patch v1.23 -
A new
patch for World Racing is now available, updating the newly released
racing simulation by Synetic to version 1.23.
- Halloween demo v1.999 - Jadeware has released
another
updated playable demo for Halloween, upgrading their budget-priced
first-person shooter to version v1.999. According to developers, this version
includes a much better gameplay made possible by a stronger game engine and
many many bug corrections. The new release also includes original music tracks
which bring back the game a whole new feel.
- Chaser MP Map Pack - JoWood has released a five level multiplayer
map pack for
Chaser, the recent sci-fi first person shooter from developer Cauldron.
- Falcon 4.0 Gold Revelaed - Xicat Interactive has sent out a press
release announcing that they will distribute
Falcon 4.0 Gold:
Operation Infinite Resolve, a new version of the classic modern military
flight sim. Surprisingly the game will be released to stores already this
month.
- Ant War Available - Anarchy Enterprises let us know they have
released its sim/tycoon game

- Yahoo! Games Announces Relationship with Microsoft Game Studios -
Yahoo!
Games today announced that Microsoft Game Studios is the newest publisher
to contribute titles to
Yahoo! Games on
Demand. Fifteen new titles will be added to Yahoo! Games on Demand through
this relationship with Microsoft Game Studios. Players can sign up for
Yahoo! Games on Demand Unlimited monthly or quarterly subscription packages,
which enables them to play all subscription games with no time limits.
Available titles include: Age of MythologyR, Combat Flight Simulator 3,
Dungeon Siege, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, Freelancer, Rise of Nations,
and Zoo Tycoon.
- Microids bought Wanadoo Edition - Microids sends word that they
have acquired Wanadoo Edition. "With this operation, Wanadoo becomes a
shareholder to a total value of 12% of Microids. This transfer makes it
possible for Wanadoo to focus its strategy on the emerging field of on-line
games, and to firmly establish itself in the North American market through
Microids' subsidiaries Microids Canada and Microids Distribution inc."
