- Tropico 2 v1.2 Patch - Take 2 has released
the
first patch v1.02(direct link) for
Tropico 2: Pirate Cove. The patch fixes a couple crash bugs and adds
several new features.
- Colin McRae Rally 3 Demo Patch - Codemasters has released
a patch for the Colin McRea 3 demo. This upgrade enhances steering wheel
and force feedback support, sound effects, track lighting, frame rates, and

- Myth 2:Soulblighter v1.4 patch - The Mythdev group has released the
1.4 patch
for the game Myth 2:Soulblighter.
- Live for Speed: Patch E1 Official - Live For Speed has made the
E1 patch official
and it is available for download.
- System Shock 2 High-Res Model Mod - Did you ever wanted to play
System Shock 2 with new enhanced graphics ? The first beta of the
System Shock 2 hi-res models mod, which is entitled Shock Rebirth, has

- More on Metallica game - According to
this Reuters story, the hard rock band's video game deal grants Vivendi
Universal Games exclusive multiyear worldwide rights to what will be a combat
action game. Due for release by early 2005, it will be designed with input
from Jeff Darrow, the conceptual artist on the "Matrix" trilogy.
- Atari's Enter the Matrix Sells Through More Than 1 Million Units in
North America - With just 18 days on store shelves, Atari's Enter The
Matrix has
sold
through more than 1 million units in North America, making it the
fastest-selling game in that territory in the Company's history. (ed. note:

- A Tale In The Desert Update: Egypt Set to Elect Demi-Pharaoh -
As A Tale In The Desert
has evolved since it launched in February, the citizens of Egypt have worked
hard towards the goal of creating the perfect society. Many players have
already passed tests involving the creation of sculptures, breeding of
beetles, scavenger hunts, and even marriage. Now comes a new test, perhaps one
of the most controversial tests ever tried in a MOG. This test has the
potential to change the balance of power in the game as this player will have
the power to EXILE up to seven other characters. This test is designed to help
Egypt in its goal of creating the perfect society as each society must have a
way to eliminate the imperfect elements. It also serves to reflect just how
close to perfection the society is .
- The Sims on TV? - The Hollywood Reporter has posted
news stating that Maxis' Will Wright has signed a first-look development
deal with Fox Broadcasting Co.
- Xbox 1.5 rumours gather speed in Japan - A number of Japanese
magazines are reporting that Microsoft is moving ahead with plans to release a
redesigned Xbox, dubbed "Xbox 1.5", which will come in a significantly
smaller case than the original model.
