- Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Preview - GameSpot have posted
a new preview of Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon, based on checking out
early PC and PS2 versions of the upcoming latest game in Revolution Software's
adventure series during a press event.
- World Of Warcraft Interview - WorldofWarcraft.de has conducted
an interview (fully in English) with Blizzard's Bill Roper as he talks
about their upcoming massive multiplayer RPG.
- Chaser Movie - The Chaser Website is offering
a new trailer showing off Chaser, Cauldron Entertainment's upcoming
first-person shooter.
- Human Head's Doom 3 Engine Game - A few weeks ago, Human Head
Studios was looking for people with Quake 3 engine based experience. Now their
job
listing page has removed that posting with a new level design position for
an unnamed project using the Doom 3 engine. Aside from Raven's previously
announced Quake IV game, this is the first hint of a game that will use id
Software's next generation graphics engine. (thanks

- Xbox European Price Cut Confirmed - Microsoft sent out a press
release announcing
a price drop in Europe for its Xbox console. The new price will be 129.99
pounds in the UK or 199.99 EURO in the rest of Europe, which is now less than
half its original European price.
- Dam Busters Ships (US) - Publisher Strategy First Inc. and
developer Just Flight
Games announced today that The Dam Busters, their add-on for Microsoft
Flight Simulator 2000/2002 and/or Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2, has
shipped to retail stores nationwide.
- Indiana Jack Ships (US) - Publisher Big City Games and developer
Techland announced today that their new adventure game,
Indiana Jack, has shipped
to retail stores nationwide. The bravest little monkey in the world, Jack is
on a mission to stop the ancient Evil Force who has cast a spell on all the
creatures of the earth, making them wild and dangerous. Jack must travel
through treacherous lands, fight off enemies and collect ten ancient artifacts
to complete his mission, save his fellow animals and of course, get his
bananas.
- Pet Soccer available - Publisher Big City Games and developer
Techland have announced that the first game on the Big City Games label,
Pet Soccer, has
shipped to retail stores nationwide. Gamers play on one of 12 crazy and
amusing animal teams on 18 different fields from every corner of the world. In
this league, players need to work extra hard to score some major points, but
they must keep in mind these pets don't always play by the rules and the
referee loves the fun plays, not necessarily the fair ones.
- EA & NVIDIA Team Up - NVIDIA today
announced that it has formed a strategic relationship with Electronic Arts.
The two companies will work together to produce and market next-generation 3D
content under the EA GAMES and EA SPORTS brands, which include such
top-selling games and franchises as Madden Football, Command & Conquer, James
Bond 007, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Golf and Battlefield 1942.
- Electronic Arts settles suit over game secrets - Electronic Arts on
Wednesday said it had
settled a lawsuit it filed against former employees who left to start
their own game company but were later found to have internal documents and
code from Electronic Arts. The settlement, entered into federal court in Los
Angeles earlier this month, includes an agreement by the 23 individual
defendants and their company, Spark Entertainment, to return proprietary
materials to Electronic Arts, or EA, without admitting any impropriety or
illegal behavior.
