have posted a new hands-on previews of Tron 2.0, the upcoming movie-based FPS
from Monolith and Buena Vista Games.

- Lionheart Trailer - Interplay's FTP site has now offers
a new
Lionheart trailer, showing off Reflexive Entertainment and Black Isle
Studios' upcoming alternate history RPG.
- AO: Shadowlands Special Effects - RPGDot has posted
two screenshots of Shadowlands, the upcoming expansion for Anarchy Online.
Funcom started testing the the new effect system yesterday and these two
screenshots, showing off a lake near Newland, are a result of the first day
working with it.
- Dragon Empires Shots - Codemasters has posted
two new screenshots of Dragon Empires. In addition, Rob Adams has written
his first
dev diary on lore creation where he provides some background information
on his work.
- Aces WW I (working title) officially announced -
CITY interactive
announced today that their development team has already started working on
new flying sim action adventure called
Aces WW I. The
game is slated for release in third quarter 2003. Aces WW I is a dynamic
action game that transports players back to the dramatic reality of World War
I. Air battles, various bombing and spy missions and breath taking dog-fights
including up to 30 aircraft guarantee the highest levels of gameplay. With the
choice of fighting and fly a variety of combat aircraft. (Although a game with
the same name was actually released in US late last year by Tri-Synergy, this
is a new game with working title).
- ESPionage Announced (console) - Midway Games Inc. announced
today that
ESPionage, is in development and is expected to ship in Fall 2003 for the
PS2, the Xbox and GameCube. ESPionage challenges players to use their most
powerful weapon - their mind-- as they try to master the first action/stealth
game to integrate traditional weapons combat with extensive Psi (psychic) mind
powers.
- Dead Man's Hand Announced -
Atari is teaming up with Human Head Studios (makers of Rune for the
PC) to bring the drama and action of the Old West exclusively to the Xbox this
fall
Dead Man's Hand Powered by Epic's Unreal technology, Dead Man's Hand is a
fast-pace first-person shooter that lets players take on gunslingers, bandits
and other unsavory chracters found in the Old West - and other unsavory folks
online via Xbox Live.
- Blitzkrieg MP MapPack -
The
German Blitzkrieg website is now offering downloads of a
free map pack (download)
for this World War II real-time strategy game. The pack weighs 17MB and
contains 12 multiplayer maps.
- Mistmare demo patch v1.301 beta -There's another
new patch (direct
link) for the demo of Mistmare, bringing Sinister System's 3D role-playing
adventure to version 1.301 beta. This release once again improves movability
and keyboard control.
- Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer compatibility fix v1.91 - Bohemia
Interactive has issued
an
updated compatibility fix for Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer, bringing
the Soviet campaign that's included in the Gold Edition and Gold Upgrade for
their tactical shooter in sync with the earlier version 1.91 patches.

- Atari to Publish Horizons - Atari today announced that
it will

playing games (MMORPG) in years. Horizons will be available for PC CD-ROM Fall
2003.
