- Rise of Nations Preview - GameSpy has posted
an
extensive preview of Rise of Nations, Big Huge Games' upcoming epic RTS
game.
- Devastation Interview - Elited.net has posted an interview (in
unusual article format) with Vic DeLeon of Digitalo as he talks about
Devastation, their upcoming Unreal engine powered first person shooter.
- Chrome Interview - Worthplaying has posted an interview with
Techland's Paul Bartek as he talks about their upcoming sci-fi first person
shooter Chrome.
- Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin patch v1.02 -
This patch includes 17 new and improved vehicle and gun models,
refinements to several commands and further tweaks to the fatigue and morale
systems. Added Features include a new "pure armor" Quick Battle force type
which will only allow "armor" units to be purchased plus dozens of unit and
weapon/armor data updates and bug fixes.

Systems today announced that it has begun shipping
Ultima Online: Age of Shadows,
an exciting new expansion in the award-winning Ultima Online (UO) series.
Ultima Online: Age of Shadows delivers just what fans requested including a
new house building tool, more professions, a new land to explore and settle
and a new magic items system. Ultima Online: Age of Shadows carries a
suggested retail price of $29.99 and a monthly subscription fee of $9.95. New
players will receive the first month free. Additionally, any player upgrading
or activating a new account before February 28, 2003 will be eligible for
"Early Settler's Rewards*" that includes a mini-house sculpture collectible
and a Bless Deed, which allows players to lock an item to their character so
that it can never be taken from them.
- Command & Conquer General Out - Westwood Studios sends word that
Command & Conquer General
should begin appearing on store shelves as of today.

an action game called Humvee Assault. Here is some description of the

- CPL Announces XBox Division -
Frank Nuccio, president of CAL, said: "We see the addition of an Xbox Live
division as an important first step in bringing console gamers into CAL's
