- Star Trek: Elite Force 2 Movies - Fragland has posted
some
new movies of Star Trek: Elite Force 2, they're merely CGI movies, but
nonetheless, eye candy is eye candy :).
- THQ Announces Red Faction 2 for the PC -THQ
today announced that its action game "Red Faction II" will be coming to
Gamecube, Xbox and PC in March.
- Ubisoft Aquires Nightmare Creatures For Console - Ubi Soft sent out
a press
release announcing it has acquired the full rights to the Nightmare
Creatures console horror-action game franchise from Kalisto. It has also
announced that it will be developing and publishing the third game in the
series, Nightmare Creatures 3, Angel of Darkness, for next-gen consoles in

- Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward Announced (PS2) - Interplay sent out
a press release announcing
Hunter: The
Reckoning Wayward, a sequel to High Voltage Software's Xbox/Gamecube
horror-action game. The sequel will debut on the Playstation 2 this summer.

- Final Fantasy Origins Announced (PSOne) -
PSX.IGN is reporting that Square's classic remakes of Final Fantasy I &
II, now titled Final Fantasy Origins will be coming to the PSOne in April
2003.
- Independent Games Festival #5 - GameSpy is reporting
that the Fifth Annual Independent Games Festival taking place in San Jose,
CA, on March 6th.
- Top Titles to secure JoWooD's future - After successful
negotiations with banks and investors, together with a capital increase, the
future of
JoWooD Productions Software AG is secured. Having put together a
compelling restructuring program and an extensive release schedule, EUR 3
million has been successfully placed with selected strategic investors. In
other positive news, Gothic II has far exceeded expectations and is now the
most successful game in JoWooD's history. In the run up to the highly
competitive Christmas season, Gothic II was number 1 in the German Media
Control charts and successfully outperformed Lord of the Rings and Harry
Potter.
