should be in stores later this month.
- NFSHP2 Patch Coming - EA's Cadillac
made a post on RacerPlanet forums: "Alright gang... there is a patch
coming for HP2. It addresses some things but not others. First off, encryption
is being added to the multiplayer code that will add much needed security to
machines hosting games. All of you who offer this from a machine will
like/want this. Second, the patch will enable force feedback on the
controller interface for those of you (like me) who use FF
wheels/controllers."
- A Tale In The Desert Final Beta - The third and
final beta of
eGenesis s upcoming MMOG, A Tale In The Desert begins on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6
p.m. and the session will continue through Friday, Nov. 15. Other sessions
will follow, but only those who sign up now will be alerted to the other
sessions.
- Looking for Ms. BMX XXX - Acclaim is looking for
Ms. BMX XXX. In a today-launched
contest entrants must submit a digital picture of themselves to the game's
Website. Visitors will then vote and thus a winner will be selected. The
winner will be flown to New York city and attend the Scores club, being
escorted by Gary and K.C. of The Howard Stern Show.
- Medal of Honor Frontline Ships (Xbox, GC) - The console
version of Medal of Honor Frontline is now available for GameCube and XBox.
Lt. Patterson returns once again, using the confusion of the real-world
offensive Operation Market Garden to infiltrate the German frontline and steal
an experimental Nazi weapon that could turn the tide in favor of the Axis.
Console version supports multiplayer battles for up to four players.
- RalliSport Challenge (PC) Ships - Microsoft sent along word that
the PC port of their acclaimed Xbox title RalliSport Challenge is hitting the
store shelves today, featuring improvements such as multiplayer via internet
and a higher resolution.

- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost Movie - 3D Gamers sends word that
a new
trailer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost is available for download in
regular and high resolutions. The movie demonstrates the engine's rendering
technology in more than three minutes of impressive looking fly-by and
gameplay footage, along with the first glimpse of one of the game's drivable
vehicles.
- Mistmare Movies - Arxel Tribe has released
a handful of
short movie clip of Mistmare, the 3D adventure role-playing game being
crafted at Sinister Systems.
- Shade: Wrath of Angels Trailer - Czech developer Black Element
Software has released a new
ECTS
trailer (11 MB, DivX) from their horror action adventure Shade: Wrath of

- WarCraft III patch v1.04a - Blizzard has released a new patch for
WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, upgrading their recent 3D RTS
to
version 1.04. This release applies a few minor game fixes, a large number
of balance tweaks, and a couple of map changes, but as with every major game
revision, replays and save games are not compatible with the previous version.
The patch is available through the Battle.net auto-updater or you can
manually download it from the Blizzard web site,
3DGamers,
FileShack.
- Revolution patch v1.1 - There is a new
patch v1.1
for this recent budget-priced futuristic first-person shooter by
Romanian developers FUN Labs.
- G.I. Combat Demo v1.01 - Freedom Games has issued
an updated
demo of G.I. Combat, bringing this playable sample of their 3D real-time
war game to version 1.01. The demo is mirrored on
3DGamers.
