- Blitzkrieg Shots - CDV has updated their website with four
new shots of Blitzkrieg, the upcoming isometric RTS under construction at Nival
Interactive.
- NeverWinter Shots - The RPG Vault has posted a new screenshots
from a recent Neverwinter Nights press event.
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Shots - Tthe official
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic site has updated with new
screenshots and concept art from BioWare's/Lucas' coproduced Star Wars single player
RPG which is set roughly 4000 years before the events from the movies.
- Space HoRSE demo - Space HoRSE is easy and friendly enough for kids to learn basic
economics, while it challenges and entertains even experienced gamers. After you play a
game of Space HoRSE, you will be hooked. It's short learning curve and high fun factor is
addicting.
- WarCraft III Beta Patch - Blizzard has released a new update for the ongoing
beta test of WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, bringing it to version 1.2
- MotoRacer 3 retail patches v1.2.4.1 - Following quickly on
the beta patches, Delphine Software has now issued the final retail patches
for MotoRacer 3, upgrading their motorbike racing sim to version 1.2.4.
- Jane's Attack Squadron retail patch v1.01b - A first patch for
Jane's Attack Squadron has been released, upgrading this World War II combat flight sim by
Mad Doc Software to version 1.01b.
- C&C Renegade mod tools - Westwood has now also
released the editing tools for Command & Conquer Renegade, offering mod
authors everything needed to create new content for this 3D action game. To start with, if

- Nina: Agent Chronicles Revealed - XGR has just learned
about Lemon Interactive's
(Starmageddon makers) next title - Nina: Agent Chronicles. This new action/adventure game
will utilize a tweaked version of the LithTech engine and is slated for release later this
year.
- Trials of Ascension Announced - Independent game developer
Shadowpool Studios announces its entry into the MMORPG market with their ground-breaking
game, Trials of Ascension. Trials
of Ascension will allow players to explore a fully interactive, 3D fantasy world populated
by an amazing array of people, creatures, and natural wonders. It will bring a mix of both

- Xbox price cut to 299 Euros - European gamers may finally be
receiving a modicum of respect from the last person they expected to receive it from:
Microsoft. According to a German investment site, Xbox will be cut in
price shortly in Europe, and existing owners may recoup the difference in software and
peripherals.
- Xbox Online Game List - The Official UK Xbox Magazine has
updated their website with the
first list of online games for Microsoft's console. The list includes 5 games -
MechAssault, Whacked!, Unreal Championship, Ghost Recon, and NFL Fever.
- Anarchy Online SE on sale in May - After winning the Best
Massively Multiplayer Online Game award from PC Gamer magazine for its game, Anarchy
Online, Funcom announces the release of a special retail edition
shipping to
stores on May 15, 2002.
- WineX 2.0 - TransGaming announced this morning the release of WineX 2.0. This is pretty groovy
news for Linux gamers wanting to play Win32 based games because that is exactly what WineX
2.0 is designed to do. This latest build adds Direct3D 8 support, enabling games like Max
Payne to run very smoothly under Linux and WineX. Other games that now work include Jedi
Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, and improved performance with games like StarCraft, Diablo 2 and
many others.
