Mustard showed off an early part of the game (they are aiming for a 10-12 hour gameplay experience) where Gideon is fighting off aliens who have attacked a space station orbiting a planet while trying to rescue his brother and girlfriend. We saw a lot of fast third person gun action with the games weapons (all of the 15 hand weapons will have alternative fire) with both hands capable of firing different combos of hand weapons. Gideon can also perform some neat Matrix-like acrobatics. At one point, the gravity in the station was lowered causing both aliens and Gideon to be able to jump higher and objects to start floating about. The game also showed off some destructible environments and some Half-Life like in game scripted sequences. Mustard said he much prefers this type of in game storytelling rather than out-of-game cut scenes (although there will be a little of that as well). As an example, we watched as a whole room in the space station was ripped spectacularly from the main structure and out into space.
