Activision as Xbox Distribution Partner in Germany - briefly

Activision, Inc. announced today that it has been selected by Microsoft as a distribution partner for the Xbox video game system in Germany. Through its established NBG EDV Handles & Verlags GMBH subsidiary, Activision will distribute Xbox system hardware and software to the German independent retail channel, excluding the toy channel. This agreement further strengthens Activision's distribution and marketing operations in Germany where it currently provides video games from Activision and other leading independent software publishers.
Xbox will be available in North America on November 15, 2001. It will be available in Europe in early 2002. [more]
