French news site, TFI reports that a delivery truck was hijacked and its contents of 6,000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 were stolen. The truck was hijacked after a collision with a car in Créteil, just south of Paris. Two men with masks on exited the car, used tear gas to subdue the truck drivers, and took off with the truck and its contents. The shipment was estimated to be worth 400,000 Euros ($551,000 USD). Heh some people apparently can't wait TWO days ;-)

My meager math indicates that $551,000 US over 6,000 copies = $91.83 per copy. If that estimated value was for the games only, doesn't that seem extremely high?

Yeah, those a******s keep doing the 1$=1€ conversion when it comes to pricing. Thankfully, purchasing in pounds gets the job done.
