EA has launched the Ultimate Plus Edition of EA Sports FC 27 priced at €149.99, the highest price tag for any EA game edition so far.

It costs €50 more than GTA 6’s Ultimate Edition and includes up to 7 days of early access plus 10,000 FC Points.

Fans are slamming the move as pure greed, saying players are paying premium prices for virtual currency and a few extra days.

The new top-tier edition has sparked widespread backlash across social media.

Critics argue EA keeps pushing higher price points while delivering the same annual football game formula.

I never buy EA titles so it makes no difference to me. As for everyone else, you don't have to buy this. You can even organize a boycott.

Just because you/me think its ridiculously priced, the rest of the world doesn’t

You can put a price on anything and people will buy it. I thought after decades of this fucked up society, this would be yawned at.

Especially since it’s a license and not even ownership
