Open-Source Win11Debloat Script Strips Windows of All Bloat in One Click - tech

A powerful open-source PowerShell script called Win11Debloat has exploded in popularity with over 51,000 GitHub stars by letting users remove every unwanted element from Windows 11 with a single command.

The tool instantly uninstalls pre-installed bloat like Candy Crush and Xbox apps, disables telemetry and advertising ID tracking, removes Copilot, Recall, and Click to Do AI features, and restores the classic Windows 10 right-click menu.

It also turns off Bing web search integration in Edge and Windows Search while enabling useful features like Windows Sandbox and WSL without any extra cost.

The script supports command-line parameters for bulk deployment across multiple machines and allows users to export their custom configuration for easy syncing between devices.

Its creator positioned it as a direct counter to Microsoft’s strategy of turning Windows into an advertising and data-collection platform, giving full control back to users for free.
