The configuration that was mentioned features 8 E-Cores based on the Arctic Wolf architecture and 12 Xe3P iGPU cores. This is an interesting configuration based on its all-E-Core and strong iGPU combo. The chip seemingly aims to provide powerful integrated graphics capabilities to Edge platforms, and 12 Xe3P cores should offer decent capabilities, as 12 Xe3 cores already offer great performance on the Panther Lake lineup.

When asked about whether the CPU will come in socketed designs, the leaker stated that Edge platforms will stick with a BGA design, but there are plans for Nova Lake for entry-level Xeons with 12 Xe3P cores, too.
