- Post a comment Lisuan Technology, a Chinese GPU startup founded in 2021 by former Silicon Valley engineers, has officially unveiled its Lisuan Extreme gaming graphics card powered by the 6nm 7G106 chip, featuring 12GB GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus, PCIe 4.0 x16 interface, 192 TMUs, 96 ROPs, and a 225W TDP via a single 8-pin connector.
Unlike previous domestic GPUs plagued by software issues, the Extreme offers out-of-the-box compatibility with AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong, thanks to its TrueGPU Tiantu architecture supporting DirectX 12 and NRSS upscaling technology.
Early benchmarks position its performance near NVIDIA's RTX 4060 in 4K gaming scenarios, with up to 24 TFLOPs of compute power, marking a significant step in China's push for semiconductor self-sufficiency despite U.S. export restrictions. The company also introduced the LX Pro/AI series for professional workloads, with mass production having begun in late 2025 and initial shipments already underway.
While driver stability and global ecosystem integration remain key hurdles, this launch could intensify competition in the mid-range GPU market.
As per LisuanTech, the LX series graphics cards will be compatible with a wide range of CPUs from Intel, AMD, Hygon, Loongson, Phytium, Zhaoxin, etc, and OS support includes Windows, UOS, Ubuntu, and Kylinsoft. Just like the gaming variant, the LX series also supports various APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, OpenGL, and OpenCL. The trio will be available for pre-orders on the 17th of March.
