This shift from app- or website-specific checks could significantly impact gaming platforms and app stores, potentially blocking underage players from mature-rated titles or in-game purchases without workarounds. Sponsored by Sen. Matt Ball and Rep. Amy Paschal, the bill is set for a committee hearing on February 24, 2026, with enforcement eyed for new setups starting January 1, 2028, if passed.

They do know Linux is open-source, right? I'll just disable it and recompile, lol Besides, how does it help when mom or dad installs the OS because the kid can't? lol How does this address any of these problems on mobiles? How does this address any of these problems on HW already out there? Seems leaders in Colorado are very short-sighted, lol
